PADI Open Water Diver course online: $120
(this is the standard price set forth by PADI)

In today's busy schedules and lifestyles some of the activites we want to take part in fall by the wayside because of the evil time limitation. There are afterall, only 24 hours in a day. What if we said you could do your academics (knowledge reviews and quizzes) online at what ever hour of the day that fit your needs then come join us for the pool dives in our pool or yours (a few restrictions apply) in preparation for the Open Water weekend or tropical destination. Would this be a way that you could come diving with us?

PADI instructors play an important role in your success as a diver and that will not change just because you are doing some of the course online. PADI and International Scuba believe that you will receive the same extraordinary education and dive skills you have in the past just a little more aligned with your busy schedule and lifestyle.

The flexibility of eLearning is that a student may participate in any regularly scheduled class at any point in the learning process. PADI and International Scuba are removing the obstacles of time so that you can begin the transformation!

Some questions that may come up:

Q1 - What is included in the online course fee?

The PADI fee includes the online text book, online recreational dive planner, knowledge reviews, quizzes, and first half of the final exam

Q2 - Can an eLearner stop online training and continue with a regular course?

Yes. Because the shop is monitoring the progress online, it's easy to see what the eLearner has completed and continue training from there.

Q3 - Can multiple people share a single online training account?

No. Each student diver must individually meet knowledge development performance requirements which requires a separate registration and sign on.

Q4 - What do you need to take the online course?

You need a computer, internet connection, access to a printer for the final referral. The computer should have the capability of showing video clips.

Q5 - What else does an eLearner need to have to be successful?

At any time during the online course the eLearner will come into the store to purchase an enhancement crew pack which contains a Recreational Dive Planner (either linear table or eRDP), logbook, and student record file. You may even wait until you are completed with online process.

Q6 - Are there academic requirements in the store?

There will be a short 20 or so question quiz to finalize the process before jumping in the pool.

You will be able to order your enhancement crew pack online - stay tuned!
