PADI Divemaster
Are you looking for something extraordinary? To do something others can only dream of? To help people transform their lives?
To open doors you didn’t even know existed? All of this, and more, awaits you as a PADI Dive Master. The course expands your dive theory knowledge,
enhances your watermanship skills, allows you to work with students in the confined and open water environments, teaches you how entertain future
divers during experience programs and refresh skills of divers who haven’t been diving in a while. We meet weekly on a rotational schedule that
doesn’t conflict with personal commitments but gives you the time to grow and progress at a pace that fits your lifestyle. As a PADI DM you will
get to teach Discover Scuba, Scuba Tune-up, Skin Diver, Discover Local Diving and perhaps Digital Photo if you are interested.
Minimum Requirement: 18 years old, Rescue Diver and 40 dives
PADI Assistant Instructor
As a PADI Assistant Instructor, you not only gain additional experience as a PADI Pro but you also start learning the PADI system of diver education.
You can act as an instructional assistant and assume limited teaching responsibilities. it’s a great way to gain experience in order to become an OWSI.
This 5 session program includes learning to teach in the classroom, confined water, and open water environments along with familiarizing yourself with
standards and procedures. As a PADI AI you will get to teach fun courses such as Peak Performance Bouyancy, Coral Reef Conservation, Project Aware,
and maybe even Digital Photo.
Minimum Requirement: 18 years old and Dive Master or Dive Con Rating
PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor
The OWSI program is one of two distinct components of the Instructor Development Course – the core of PADI Instructor training.
The program is a minimum of 5 days where we introduce you to the entire PADI System of diver education and concentrate on further
developing your abilities as a professional dive educator. It’s about life transformations – both yours and those around you.
You may be able to earn college credit and or Veteran benefits. The fun part of instructor training is interacting with others while
creating friendships that continue long after the course concludes. Just ask Scuba Jim.
Minimum Requirement: 18 years old and PADI Assistant Instructor or Instructor from qualifying agency
PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC)

knowledge of dive theory, teaches to apply the PADI system to confined water skills, knowledge development presentations, and open water
training, provides new career opportunities, expands your knowledge of scuba gear, enables you to meet and network with other dive

Emergency First Response Instructor
CPR and First Aid are important skills that are in high demand. As and EFR Instructor you can teach ANYONE these
valuable skills and earn a reasonable income. You will gain experience in how to structure learning, the requirements
of performance-based training and your role as the facilitator in the learning environment for teaching CPR/First Aid.
You will also learn how to motivate students, evaluate student knowledge, present course content effectively, become
proficient in developing student’s hands-on skills practice sessions, and are taught how to present an effective
scenario-based learning experience.
Minimum Requirement: 18 years old
PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer with extras
When you leave the IE as an Open Water Scuba Instructor, you will want to have all of the tools in your tool box
to take students to their goals. You are eligible to teach the PADI system but specialties take a little more time to obtain.
Let us load your toolbox and give you more teaching/earning opportunities when you start teaching. We have a MSDT prep for
$550 that includes 6 specialties and handcrafted power points or you can for the gusto and choose 9 specialties for $850 and
power points. Time required is based on specialties chosen.
Minimum Requirement: 18 years old and OWSI or registered in OWSI or IDC
PADI IDC Staff Instructor
So you are ready to assist the course director in creating assistant instructors and working on your Master Instructor.
You will learn how to evaluate candidates, provide positive coaching, work hand-in-hand with the course director, present
portions of the IDC, and independently teach the AI program. You will prepare classroom, confined water, and open water presentations
and perform a skill circuit to get you ready to work a full IDC. A Staff Instructor is to a course director what a DM is to
an instructor. We can do without them but why would we as they make our life easy. You will spend one extra day before attending
a complete IDC.
Minimum Requirement: Master Scuba Diver Trainer
DAN Instructor
Are you interested in teaching some behind the scenes valuable information to your students, then DAN courses such as
Oxygen Provider, Hazardous Marine Life, On-site Neurological Assessment, and DEMP/DES courses are for you. These we are
all important courses to blend into your rescue classes.
